The Diekmann name came to United States from Germany with my Grandfather Harm Meints Diekmann with his wife Sara Marie (Miller) Diekmann and three children Anna, Martha three years old and Herbert nine months old. Both Martha and Herbert died in Diller, Ne after their arrival. What city in Germany they Immigrated from is not known, but he was born in Nesse, Germany 08/18/1856 and they were married in Norden, Germany in 1884. He had at least one brother that came here also, his name was Henry ( I think Heinrich) and he had three sons named Carl, Arnold and Meinnard. I also don't know much about Sara Miller's family.There were six other children born to the couple after arriving in Diller, Ne. Anna in Germany and Herman, Martin, Metta, Jennie, Carl and Henrietta all born in Ellis or Diller,Ne
