James H. was b. May 16, 1882, Elmore Co. Alabama. His father was James H. Baxley, b.June 1846 in Alabama and married to Miranda Holt. James was in the Civil War, Confederate Army.
. James Henry was employed later in life with City of Montgomery Police Dept. He was married to Dora Lee Hicks b.January 27, 1880, I think in Elmore or Coosa Co. Alabama. Her father was Elijah Hicks and mother was Elizabeth Moore. James and Dora Lee had six children:Mamie married Simpson E. Vaughan/ one son, Simpson E. Jr.
Evelyn married Ray Brazell/ two sons, James, Edward Ray
Joseph L.M. married Voncile Stuart/ three sons,Curtis Lanier,Joe Seale, James Larry.
James Alvin married Sue Brown/ No Children
Gladys married Fred Spinks/ No Children
Minnie Velma married Arthur Rudolph Bullard/ six children,
Arthur Lee, Glenda lou, Sharon, Robert Earl, David Harold, Betty Suzanne(Missy).
