I have been researching my family name, Di Fillipo. My grandfather and grandmother, Ferdinand Di Fillipo and Antonette Zambrano Di Fillipo (my namesake), came to live in Lynn, Massachusetts from Italy maybe Sicily. They had 10 children, all but one born in Italy. Their names were; Rose, Edith, Viola, Genevieve, Tony, Antonio, Phil, Vito, Buddy, and Fred John Di Fillipo (my father), who was the one born in 1923-4 in Lynn, MA.. My grandfather used to own a store in Lynn. And he also used to travel back to Italy periodicly. He died around 1970. I was born in 1969. I also have two brothers from my fathers previous marrige to my mother. Dennis Phillips in N. Hollywood, CA. and Freddie Di Fillipo, Jr. in Beverly, MA..
