Walter James Dillon Sr, 61, husband of Elizabeth McCoy Dillon RD1 Highland Rd, Rochester died suddenly Wednesday evening May 2, 1962, in the Rochester General Hospital following a heart attack suffered in his home. He was an employee of Armstrong Cork Co., Beaver Falls. Mr Dillon was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Freedom, L.O.O.M. #575, Freedom and F.O.E. #1226, Rochester. Surviving in addition to his wife are six daughters, Mrs Donald (Caryl) Waddle, Getysburg, Pa., Mrs Glenn (Irene) Campbell, Beaver Falls, Mrs Edward (Betty Lou) Campbell, Freedom, Mrs Clayton (Mary Ellen) Baily, Rochester, Mrs William (Dorothy) Wiltrout, Eastville, and Miss Sandy Dillon at home: four sons, Walter J. Dillon Jr, Hanover, Alfred, Pa, Hanover, Pa, Edward, Chicago, Ill, and Richard, U.S. Navy, Providence, R.I.: 20 grandchildren and a brother, George Dillon, Saxonburg, PA. Friends will be received after 7pm today in the Jack L. Gross Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, at 1pm with his pastor, Rev. William O. Anderson officiating. Interment will take place in Oak Crove Cemetery, Freedom.
