Notes for Johann Georg Salathee: The name Salathee was probably mis-spelled or mis-pronounced. It is quite possible that this may have been the correct spelling all along. During the 17th century there was much religious persecution by the catholic church. many of the De Sallade or De Salladie families fled into Germany, Holland and Switzerland. Johann was a minister of the portestant faith who very likely fled to the area in Switzerland know as Basil. I have tried to make the connection of Johann and Harvey De Sallade, but Johann might possibly be the son of Alwin or another son of Elboin and Genoveva
