Alwin, possibly the son of Elboin, was a knight captured by the Arabian Emir Meesfa when Juraselem was stormed during the crusades. Meesfa, touched by the kindness of Alwin, foreswore his beliefs and became a Christian. Meesfa went to France with Alwin and founded the flourishing family of Ibemourcas.
