I am researching the Davenport family residing in many states in the US. The Davenport's originated in England, then went to such places as Barbados, British West Indies. They eventually settled in many states, including New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
I am also searching my Dad's side, which are Dimmett's. They began in North Carolina, but most ended up in Warrick Co, IN. The Dimmett name has many variations of spelling, as do the Davenport's.
I am also searching alot of the female ancestors maiden names, especially the Dutch ones.
