About my family research, I learned the names and birthdays of some of my ancestors. I just got to my great grandparents. About the reunions, the one that stands out in my memory is the 1999 Dirden family reunion. We had fellowship at my church, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and every one got to know family memebers they never met and also see the ones they do know. The next day we had a picnic. It was actually a fish fry. We had a good time. The next day we went to The Red Lobster and ate. We also had a good time there too. Then on Sunday, we drove to Benton, Arkansas and went to church there. We had a lot of fun in that family reunion. My sister and I met a new cousin that we had never met.
