Welcome to the home page of Rev. James Dishmond. This site is show a listing of descendants of the late Rev. J. Dishmond, and to solicit information from anyone who may know more descendants of the Dishmond Family.
Rev. James Dishmond was born March 10, 1905, to Mr. Jim Dishmond in Girard Georgia. Jim Dishmond's orgin is believed to be in the Tennessee or Virginia area. Jim had several children, however their names are not known.
James Dishmond was believed to be the last living male survivor to carry on the Dishmond name. He had several brothers but as far as we know, none of his brothers had any sons. Most of the boys left home and no further information is known about them.
James Dishmond married Mr. Sarah Jenkins-Dishmond, and to this union eleven children were born, eight sons and three daughters.
We are asking anyone that know Jim Dishmond or any of his relatives to please contact us. It is our prayer that we gather as much information regarding our past family history.
