About Our Family Research


I have started this page so that anyone that stumbles across it who is also researching their family can compare their results with mine. Also for any of my own family who may know some extra information not included here can update me with this.

I am trying to find information at the moment for Dochertys in the Aberdeen area. I think that this may be the point at which the surname was changed from Docherty to Docketty so that the southerners could pronounce it !
