I, Myrtis Barbara Doggett Bosson and my sister Diana June Doggett Johns Hve been researching the Doggett line, on and off, for about 12 years. We started in Phoenix at a branch of the Mormon Family History Library. When we had exhausted the information they had we went to Mesa, Arizona to the Family History Library there. We have been successful in finding full names for some family members, dates and places of birth that were not previously known. We have been successful in tracing the family origin back to Bath County, Kentucky in the 1850s. We have never had a Doggett reunion because my sister, mother & I m moved away from Ft.Worth after our father died in 1939. Our mother remarried & we didn't have much contact with our father's family except a few summer visits when when were young. We have been able to trace our father's family back only to our GGGgrandfather.
