My cousin, Robert Stitt, shared his Family Tree Maker with me some years ago. I then expanded it to include my grandmother's side--Walkers from Ireland--which came to a halt pretty quickly. Then I examined more on my paternal grandfather's side. While Googling around, I discovered a third cousin in Melbourne, Australia, who had done a great deal of research on the Lathams and had documentation, letters, wills, all sorts of discoveries going back to the early 1700's. John has shared this information with me, growing my family tree to the extent where I could share it.
I am now interested in finding out about a rumored "American branch" of Sandersons who came to the States from England in the first part of the 1800's. They would be descendants of Henry Sanderson, oldest son of Thomas Sanderson and Ann Kirkhouse; or of Robert Kirkhouse Sanderson and Jane Jeffrey Ubsdell.
