My name is Michael Anthony Dominguez, I am the great-great grandson of Silverio Dominguez and Catalina Cortez. The Dominguez family originated in Fresnillo de Gonzalo Zacatecas, Mexico. Silverio and Catalina had only one son, Jose Aniceto Cortez Dominguez. Aniceto married Soledad Avasta or Abasta in Fresnillo de Gonzalo, Zacatecas. His marriage to Soledad is found in the IGI files.

The grandchildren of Aniceto and Soledad grew up to know her as grandma Sarah. We are not sure how she got the name Sarah.

Aniceto and Soledad had several children. It is thought that they had 5 daughters and one or two sons. When we verify this we will add this information to the site.
