About Our Family Research

It is too bad that we wait so late in life to get interested in our family history. I never really paid enough attention to what the older people were saying about Aunty So and so or where Uncle Whozit homesteaded and all that kind of information. Now Both of my parents have passed on as well as most of the older people in the family, leaving our generation as now being the "older People". So I started out not knowing much and found a forum where I got some information from Suzi Search and then I got some information from my cousin Nadia Schultz. Well I took this information and started to get completely baffled in the confusion. It seemed that every family used the same names for their children and I had an awful time keeping the individuals apart. I have come a long way since then and am quite pleased with my progress. I haven't got as many confirmed as I would like but it all takes time and after a while one has to take a break for a while before getting back at it. But I thoroughly enjoy doing this and will keep at it. Every once in a while I get to help someone who is just getting started or their family tree branches into ours and then they get lost in the confusion. If you see any errors by all means let me know about them and I will fix them immediately. I hope this sit will be helpful to you.
