This is a work-in-progress, which began as The Ancestors and Descendants of Clarence George BROWN and Lois ASHTON of Harrison County, IN and includes ANDERSON, DOPPES, EHALT, HOLLIDAY, KENDRICK, LUTZ, MCCOY, ROTH, YOUNG. As of August 2003it contains almost 3000 names. Approximately 1500 of those names are the descendants of John George and Mary Barbara Ehalt (Aehalt, Ahalt) who emigrated to Harrison County, IN from Carlbach, Bavaria, Germany through the port of New Orleans in July, 1847.
Clarence George Brown was the great-grandson of Benjamin Franklin Brown, grandson of Benjamin Madison Brown and son of Edward George Brown. Maternally, he was the great-grandson of John George Ehalt, grandson of Adam Ehalt, and son of Rosa Christina Ehalt.
