I am Jane Elizabeth Mary Doran, daughter of Daniel Doran,(died Augest 27th,2004) and Mary Doran
(nee Stokes). I've lived in Logy Bay,Newfoundland all my
life until I was 20 yrs old. I came to Brampton, Ontario in 1987
and have been here for thirteen yrs, with my son Jordan
Emanuel Doran who was born in 1991, on June 28.His fathers name is Jorge Matos, from Portugal. I am trying to find information on my family tree. On my mothers side, I have this information. My mother was born in St. John's, NFLD., daughter to John Stokes and Mary Stokes (nee Walsh), sister to James, Joseph, Michael, twins Patricia and Joan .I know my grandfather John had three sisters and my grandmother Mary (whose real name is Stella) has three sisters, Margret, Alice, Kathleen and a brother Jack that I know of.
Their mother died at home at the age of 99. My father Dan was born in Outer Cove at home just up from Outer Cove
Beach. He is brother to James, Richard,, Lucy, Ruby, Mary ,and John of Guelph, Ontario,and Patrick of Brampton Ontario. His fathers name is Daniel Doran,
and his mothers name is Evelyn Doran (French), she has a sister Lucy which is her only sibling that I know of. I know nothing of his fathers side. I myself have two sisters and a brother. Mary is married to Jerome Boland of Outer Cove, and they have a son Gerard. Linda is married to Jeff Manning of Torbay, and they have two boys Stephen, and Gregory. My brother John is currently unmarried, but he and his girlfriend Barb Critch, have two daughters, named Olivia and Emily(Barbs daughter Emily is from a previous marriage).
