The Doreos

Updated August 8, 2010

About Our Family Research

My family and I are looking at the family tree of Doreo. As far as we know, we have Doreo originating in NY after they migrated from Italy/England. We traced that to the Gauls. However, we would like to fill in the blanks all the way to that period, as well as current Doreos who are part of our line. There is currently a small clan of Doreo in NC, there is me over in east TN, and there are a few in California that I know of.

We also have created a family tree and discovered immigration papers that also has my grandfather's grandfather's handwriting. Doreo means literally 'to give, follows'.
