John Fleming (son of John Fleming and Lilias Grabam) was born December 9, 1589 in Kincardine, Scotland, and died May 7, 1650 in Cumbernauld, Scotland. He married Margaret Livingston on February 20, 1608/09, daughter of Alexander Livingston.

John Fleming was baptized about December 9, 1589, at Kincardine, Scotland. He succeeded his father as Earl in 1619. He was appointed member of the Privy Council in 1626. His marriage contract to Margaret Livingston, second daughter of Alexander, Earl of Linlithgow, was dated February 20, 1609. He died at Cumbernauld May 7, 1650.
