Researching my ancestors has been very interesting. One one hand I have the entire "Ur Adel" of the Mark Brandenburg tracable down to 761 as ancestors with the v. Kluetzow, v. Greifenberg,v. Schweinitz, v. Stuelpnagel, v.Bredow families, but also the ancient jewish Fraenkel family, which is apparently related to people like Heinrich Heine, Mendelsohn Bartholdi and Carl v. Sternberg. It is also said that my great great grandfather was the illegitimete son of Frederick the III, born to Julius Lauer who married Charlotte v. Stoltzenberg, who was the lover of the King... All this is just the family from my mothers side.Any information on Maximilian Fraenkel Bankherr in Berlin, married to Caroline v. Halle and his ancestors, parents etc. would be highlty appreciated. Also any information on the Danish side from my grandmother (Helen v. Haven-Halkier would be important.
