Our family has been trying to locate information on Perry Allen Pierce and Gerogia May Ripley of Michigan.
I have found information on Georgia's family back to her parents and aunts and uncles. Nothing so far on her Grandparents. Her parents were Harry and Olive(Anderson) Ripley of Olivet, Calhouun County, MI. Harry was born in MI and Olive was born in Noble County, OH. Olive had 3 sisters and 1 brother (living as of 1979)
I was sent information on Perry's Parents, Norman C. Pierce and Esme E. Lewin. A cousin sent me their marriage certificate which shows them being married in Sioux City, IA in 1912. It also states that they were both from Hinton, IA at the time of their marriage. In 1915 they were in Portage, PA. We do know that his ancestor came to Massechusetts in approx 1630 with his brother, Thomas Pierce(ancestor of President Franklin Pierce) from Norwich, Norfolk, England.
A special Thanks to Jeff Fowler. I have located information on Norman's parents and the genealogy of his mother's side of the family through his research on his family. It has been exciting finding all the family we share out there.
We are still searching for information on the Pierce side. Eli Elton Pierce was Norman's father. Also, still looking for information on Esme.
