The Berliew Family came over from France. John Danbury Berliew was born in OH in 1868, married Nettie B. Johnson on 12/24/1889 in Bonne Terre, MO, Nettie was born in New Hampshire. His father's name is Charles and mother is Martha J. Stells (Stills)? John Danbury had 6 children from two marriages 2d marriage Rosalie Maroski. Our line is with John Glenwood Berliew,I, of the 1st marriage, John died at the age of 35 after being sprayed with mustard gas in WWI. He married Maude Abbott, her mother and father were Elsie M. Smith and Samuel Abbott. John & Maude had three children, Marian Gwendolyn married Harry K. Elliott, Sr., they had three children--Barbara Jean, Harry Kennen, Jr., and John Roger. John Glenwood, II married Hazel Fern Fleming now divorced,they had three children--Vicky Sue, John Glenwood and Roy Eugene, and Delores Sue married Carl Miller now divorced, had two children Carolyn Sue and Gail. John G. Berliew, II is my father.
