I have more information on those in the tree and have a MyFamily web site and encourage anyone searching SPENCER,BRAY,BRYANT,FISHER,BECKWITH,SEFFINGA,MOORE,STACKHOUSE to contact me if there's a chance we can share information. Some of the intermingled names are RUBENDALL,HAGENSON, VANTOSSEL,TURCH,GREEN,TRUPP,WEGELE,SPEARS,BAUGE,SANDERS,ARMSTRONG,DRUMMER, + MANY OTHERS. Locations are so far, NY,England,The Netherlands, CT,MI,ILL,WI,MN,OH,ME/MA and IA to mention a few. Still looking for parents and possible siblings for my paternal Great Great Grandmother found in records as Harriet or Harriet R. Fisher, though her grandaughter, Glendora Bryant Wallis DAR record lists her as Rachel Harriet Fisher Bryant. Harriet R. Fisher was born according to all found so far 1826, NY. A marriage was found for Harriet Fisher, Sylvanus Brant Jackson county, Michigan for December 24, 1846 and I believe that to be the date of their marriage and somewhere, somehow someone in transcribing dropped the y and it should be Bryant. Harriet according to grand daughter's DAR record gives marriage year for sylvanus and Harriet as 1847. Other things leading me to believe that is their marriage is, the JP was a Densmore, one of the witnesses was a Densmore and Harriet and Sylvanus named their son, who was born in 1849 in Michigan Henry Densmore Bryant. They had a daughter Emma, born 1851 in Michigan and then a son Franklin P Bryant in Illinois in 154 and my Great Grandmother Almatia L. Bryant (Spencer) in 1860 Story county Iowa. I have a lot of information to share on them from them, her, to me but know nothing of her background. I started searching for my Paternal Grandmother's heritage about 1 1/2 years ago. Only had notes from a deceased Aunt saying that Grandma's Father was ? Bray, her Mother may have been Alice, and the names of her siblings as Horace, Bill, Clarence, Joe, Charlie, Grant, Clara, Cora, Lena and Bess. The notes indicated that Grandma grew up knowing her siblings. My Grandmother's birthday of Oct 20 1892, Dows, Iowa and the story that Grandma's mother had died when Grandma was young so she was adopted by Alfred T. and Lillie Hadley Ware. When they expected their first son Raymond, Grandma went to live with Lillie's parents, Rev. and Mrs. William Jasper Hadley. (Mrs Hadley was Mary I Carpenter Hadley). We all knew Grandma as Beulah Marie WARE, but knew she'd been born a Bray, she also went by Hadley. She's found in records as Marie B. WARE, rather than Beulah. She lived with the Hadley's until she married my Grandfather, Floyd Bryant Spencer. Grandma is said to have played concert piano for Billy Sunday when she was a young girl. That has not been "documented" as I don't even know how to go about doing that. Since then due to others finding information for me when they go to the family history centers much information has been found but as always in genealogy, would like to find more. I have high appreciation for those that have done lookups and helped put together some history. Have a lot of information now on the BRAY family too but am looking to discover where exactly in England my Great Grandfather was born and who his parents and siblings were. Joseph Bray was born 1840 England and the obituary says Walhurst and a birth record for a daughter says Woodbridge. He died 1906 in Galt Iowa. After immigrating to the US (was naturalized in 1869 according to the 1900 census) he lived in Black Hawk and then Wright counties in Iowa. Have found something now on all 11 children born to Joseph and wife Alice Marie Beckwith Bray. Alice died Dec 8 1892 and she, Joseph, son William H. and Williams wife Mattie Bauge Bray are all buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Galt Iowa. Anyone thinking they're connected to this BRAY family of mine I would love to hear from. I am more than willing to share information as I look for more. Barb Drummer
