The Duell Family started back in 1909 when Bertrum Franklin Duell married Maude Scott. Their family contained James, Marcelline, Ella, Edna, & Ethel who passed away at an early age. Now only Edna and Marcelline are still living. The only Duell son to carry on the Duell name was James Ashley Duell. On July 10, 1948 James Ashley married Adeline Marjorie Muchler, daughter of John and Delilia Muchler of Hornell, NY. James and Adeline met while Adeline worked as a waitress at her Aunt & Uncle's Resturant on Main Street in Cuba, NY where James would come in for his meals.
