I am the only Dufresne in Rock Hill South Carolina!
My husband is Laurence Thomas Josserand, and his last name is far less common than Dufresne. Our child, born in 1992, is Anthony Dufresne Josserand.
I am from a Dufresne family originating in Maine. My father, George Norman Dufresne, was born in Maine in the 1930's, and His father had the very distinctive name of Napoleon Dufresne. Napoleon was a violinist and conductor in various places, last known residence in Florida at his death. His 1st and 2nd wife (not his third) was my Grandmother, Gratia Louise Plante, of Lewiston Auburn Maine. They also had a daughter, Grace, who died in 1998.
There are five Dufresne children born to George Norman Dufresne and Nancy Jean Rinaldi, all living in California - except me:

We know very little about our Dufresne family connections, as we never met our grandfather Napoleon (alcoholic wife beater rumor has it). Any information about our Dufresne ties would be appreciated!
Any time we get together, it is a Dufresne Family Reunion.
