About Our Family Research

My grandfather was Patrick (no middle name) O'Donnell. He was five years old when he immigrated here from County Cork, Peterswall Ireland. He had 7 birth children, Mary Wolvington, Emma Jean Schuhmacher, Alice Maxine Lorenzon, John Patrick, Thomas, Robert and Patricia, and 1 adopted son Richard with his wife Bertha Potansia Burr from Hill city S.D. He had 1 brother Jesse who lived with them. He had one sister, Katy who lived in Chadron Ne. He homesteaded a farm 7 miles north of Chadron Ne., which is still being farmed by his son Richard O'Donnell. He drove a stage coach through Yellowstone National Park when he was a young man. His fathers name was John Patrick and his mothers name was Mary. They both died in Chadron Ne.
