This Duhl family originated in Galicia Austria and came to New York in the end of the 1800's. Max Duhl was the younger brother of Wolff Duhl. There is 15 years difference in age. Their parents were Abraham Joel Duhl and Scheindel Taube. Much of what we've found has been a combination of genealogy work between myself and a member of Wolff's family. There is much to be found on JewishGen.org as well. The two boys of the Duhl family immigrated to the US to NY and raised their families Max in NY and Wolff in Florida.

The Spector family came from Chepetovka, Russia - a part of the Ukraine near Kiev. My grandfather came over in 1910 with 500 Roubles sewn into his pocket. He created and lived his own American Dream.

As I research my family's history, I find out more and more about them that I never knew. It truly is a wonderful learing experience and hopefully one day I can be able to pass it on to my children as well.
