About Our Family Research
Family grows more important to me as I watch my children grow. On these pages, I would like to set out history down for all to see. There might not be any famous people, but there are momentous events. We are what our history has made us. Come, visit, see if you knew my folks. Leave your stories and thoughts. Share my pride in these folks - I wouldn't change a one of them. If any of these stories sound familar, then you are a true Southerner and truly welcome.
Neatest stories so far: When my mother was born, my step-father was sent running for the doctor. If he'd only known. My husband's ancestors lived on land behind my paternal grandfather. My step-grandmother greeted my husband the first time with the words "Sit down, cuz. We're family." My children carry my step-father's bloodline, through their own daddy.
