The Rev. R.M. DuBose is my great-grandfather, and I am trying to trace his ancestors and learn more about him.

I found on the web that he was born in SC in July 1849. He married Catherine (or Kate) G. Garth in Lawrence Co., Alabama. He went to Harvard and was minister of a Presbyterian Church in Sumner County, Gallatin, TN.

One of his children was Kate, my grandmother, who married Kleber Bell Dunklin in Gallatin, where she died in 1972.
