About Our Family Research




I am a decendant of Henry Twigg and Margaret Emma Godbeheer. Henry is the son of Benjamin Twigg and Ann Green.
Henry Migrated to Australia sometime around 1884.He arrived in Cooktown. His wife Margaret arrived in Brisbane on the "Mekarra" on 22 September 1885 with the children. Emma, Harriet, Clara, Arthur and Henrietta. The same Ship carried the rest of the family including; Fred, Margaret, Fred jnr, Lily, Ada, Polly(Margaret Emma)and Walter.
