I am researching the "HUTCHINS" - "SYNCO" - "WOFFORD" families from Arkansas County, Arkansas. Thomas W. "Tom" HUTCHINS, DOB: Abt. 1865, Death: 02/25/1934,(Arkansas County) first appears in the records in the Southern District of Arkansas County, Arkansas in a marraige license, but I don't know where he was before that. Thomas at the age of 55, married Sallie (Sally) A. "WOFFORD" SYNCO, age 36, on 01/10/1920; from this union they had one son: Thomas Wilson "T. W." HUTCHINS, Jr. DOB: 04/14/1921 (Arkansas County) Death: 04/17/1971 (Homer, Louisiana). I received a Death Certificate from the Arkansas Division of Vital Records, it lists Thomas W. "Tom" HUTCHINS, born in Illinois, no mother or father were listed.
I am also researching the "WOFFORD" family from Mississippi. Sallie (Sally) A. "WOFFORD", SYNCO, HUTCHINS, DOB: Abt. 1884 (Mississippi) Death: 04/21/1926 (Arkansas County). Sallie's (Sally), Transporation of Corpse Certificate from the Arkansas Division of Vital Records lists her father's name as John WOFFORD from Mississippi. Sallie (Sally) A. "WOFFORD" SYNCO, had other children from a prior marriage to Britt SYNCO. Her other children were Charley Clemmon SYNCO, DOB: 09/13/1904 Death: 05/16/1980; Marie K. SYNCO, DOB 07/08/1905 Death: 05/16/1980; John Alexander "Elic" SYNCO, DOB: 10/19/1916 Death: 09/05/1984; Ruth SYNCO DOB: N/A Death: 1925; Ruby Marie SYNCO, DOB: N/A Death: N/A;
