I have just begun to try and find the family history of the Dunagins from west Texas around the small town of Merkel, Texas. I have one brother, Tommy, who lives north of Shreveport, Louisiana. My parents have passed on without leaving a family history. I do not want this to happen to my children. My father was WM (initials only) Dunagin, his father was Bill Dunagin. They were from Stith Texas. My grandfather, Bill, owned a cotton gin at Stith. My father passed away in May, 1988 in Mooringsport, La.
