About Our Family Research

from my understanding, my family came to the shores of great britain with the retinue of william and mary (king billy) from holland, they landed at the headland of the now named dungeness.
settling in and around the town of cranbrook, as recorded in the church arcives, at the age of sixteen i visited the church with my parents and dicovered the area of the churchyard where my ancestores were intered. the first stone i cleaned was that of my name sake who died of galloping consumpion at the age of twenty seven.
my grandad was henry charles dungey born around 1879 in or around london, my father was born stanley laurance in 1908, my mother in 1913 in leeds, yorkshire. they married in 1936ish, my father died in 1979my mother is still alive and kicking thank the lord.
i have cousins, a brother and a sister who iwill in the near future add to the tree.
