The lineage starts at Campbell Dunnet & Margaret Geddes who had an illegitimate son James born 1800 Bower, Caithness, Scotland. That is the start of the journey. James Dunnet marries Anne Leask in Kirkwall, Orkney Isles in 1841.. Have a son William who married Isabella Gullion Dec. 18, 1844 in Eday & Pharay, Orkney Isles. They have 5 children 1845-1851.. one of the sons James Dunnet marries Isabella Anderson May 5, 1870 in Newfield, Stenness, Orkney Isles, Church of Scotland ... they have 6 children between 1868 and 1883 one of their children was my Grandfather John Smith Dunnett (note the spelling change.. customs guy gave him double tt) born September 20 1874 Orphir, Orkney Isles.. both Dunnet and Dunnett from Orkney will be same family .. I have over 500 names not posted on the family tree maker YET.. I want to locate Campbell Dunnet and his Lady Margaret Geddes.. ????
