I just started researching the Baldwin family. My mother is Betty Baldwin. Her father was Isome Ophelia Baldwin. He supposedly was Cherokee. Her mother was Jessie Wilkinson. They married and lived in Arkansas. They also lived in Michigan. My mother's brother is James Baldwin. He lived in Michigan (Pontiac) for a VERY long time. My greatgrandfather was Lewis Baldwin. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. He moved to Monticello (I think) Arkansas and married Ada Black. Any family members with or without info are welcome to e-mail me.
