My father is Lee Floyd Duncan, born April 14, 1912 in North Carolina. (City was either Marion or Maryland) Place of death was Monticello, NY, November 1971. His father was James F. Duncan (Floyd?) and his mother was Leila Elizabeth Seagle. Lee Floyd Duncan had one sister named Gladys Georgia Duncan DOB: 07/12/1918 living and residing in Hendersonville, NC. My mother is Alma Bates of Lancaster, TN. Born March 22, 1919. Her father is Charlie McHenry Bates of Lancaster, TN (DOB) 12-24-1877 DOD: 06/05/1954. Charlie was the son of William R. (Riley?) Bates and his wife Malisa (Melissa?). Charlie Bates married Susie Helmontaller (and/or Hemmentoller) DOB 6/29/1884 (and/or 6/27/ 1884). DOD:06/23/1973. Susie was the daughter of Tom and Julie Ann Helmontaller (and/or Hemmentoller). Lee Floyd Duncan & Alma Bates had three children.
