I am very new to this family tree information. I recently lost both of my grandparents (maternal) and am quite ashamed to admit that I don't know any information about my ancestors with the exception to the ones that I just recently lost. I know my grandfather came from a very large family on a farm up near Flint Michigan. I would love to get some ideas on where to start and I would be very grateful to any information anyone can give me. My maternal grandfathers name was Othel Albert Nutt. Born June 24, 1923 and died on December 30, 1999. His parents names were Bessie Lee (I do not know of her maiden name as of yet)who died on August 29, 1971 and Arthur Nutt (died November 1962). I do know when my great grandmother died in 71, I was her 57th great grandchild. I was born 9 days before she died. Sad to say, but this is all I have to go on as of right now. I am hoping to recieve more information as I extend my search.
