I have only commenced my research into my fathers' family recently as he has been loathed to discuss them with me. My mothers side of the family was easy as this is passed down as a chant and her family is currently in its 21st generation, me being the 17th!

I am learning as of right this minute how to go about tracing a family tree and if anyone has any information to add please do so.
