My family came from Bohlsbach,Baden,Germany. They sailed on January 30, 1843, the ship Mozart arrived in New Orleans. she traveled across the ocean from France. Aboard the ship was my family headed by August Schmiederer age 44, his wife Catharina age 44, son Lorenz age 5, dau's Appeltonia(Apollonia) age 5 and Felicita age 2.
