My father Stephen Andrew du Toit was brought up on a farm in Stellenbosh South Africa with 2 brothers and three sisters. My granfather's father came to South Africa from France. The family names at the time was Nicolaas Walters. Me and my fathers names (Stephen Andrew) where given by my grandmother as her maiden name was Knell, which is of English desent.

No one really knows much more than this. I am now trying to find out as much as I can about the rest of my family so I can start some sort of history of this branch of the Du Toit family. There are many Du Toit's in South Africa, but we do not all come from the same bloodline.
