I gratefully acknowledge the help of my family and friends in compiling this information which is accurate as far as I can tell.

Tracing my family has not been that difficult so far because, luckily, not only am I blessed with a not too common surname, but also my two grandmothers were sisters! (therefore my parents were cousins) and this of course, to my benefit, cuts down on the ancestral research.

Of late, the activity on the genealogy front has reduced a lot due to becoming parents of a young family, but, one of the nice things about this ‘game’ is that history doesn’t change and you don’t have to update yourself with current affairs (only perhaps on new methods of researching information).
