I am interested in tracing the Harps back from my father's mother, Anna B Harps, born February 25, 1870, to Peter Harps and Elizabeth Jonen of Beetown, Wisconsin. Anna married my grandfather Martin E. Phelan, who was born August 5, 1867, in Cedar Lake, Minnesota to James Phelan and Bridget Mooney, both of Kilkenny, Ireland.

I am Kathleen Ann Phelan, now Dybeck, born March 9, 1940 - oldest daughter of Marcus Bennett Phelan (b. July 21, 1906 d. November 22, 1966) and Doris Lee Griffith
(b. May 18, 1913 d. January 14, 1993)

About the Griffith side of the family, I believe that my mother's father, Lewis Edward Griffith, was born between 1880 - 1888 in Ohio, to Albert and Lizzie H. Griffith. He married my grandmother, Olive Mildred Ayers (b. October 26, 1890 d. January 1959) on December 15, 1908. He died in Montana in 1967.
