My name is Albert John Dyck and I am the oldest son of Cornelius Bernhard Dyck who is the youngest son of Bernhard Jakob D˙ck.
My ggrandfather Jacob Bernhard Dyck 1828-1906 married a Miss ? Penner 1830-1885 and two of their children are my grandfather is Bernhard Jakob Dyck 1859-1942 ( I have documents that he has signed D˙ck (y with an umlaut)as well as an ID card with Dueck ,have also found cousins in Germany from Russia that spell it Dück, u with an umlaut) and Bernhard had a brother , Cornelius Dyck 1866-1926 who married Helena Enns 1867-1956.
Bernhard Dyck married Katharina Martens 1864-1938 they had 11 children, Jacob 1886-1953, Johann 1887-1889, Johann 1890-1913, Katharina 1892-1919, Sarah 1894-1963, Heinrich 1896-1917, Anna 1898-1915, Bernhard 1901-1951, Peter 1904-1943, Abram 1907-1908 and Kornelius 1910-1952.
Jacob & Family , Sarah & Family, Bernhard & Family came to Canada in 1926 with Bernhard & Katherina and their 15 year old son. Another son Peter stayed in Russia and I have found his children in Germany and the name is Dück.
