The Dye Family From Norfolk, England

Updated August 29, 2001

About Our Family Research

My research into the Dye branch of my family is virtually complete from 1706 to date.

The core of the family during this period has generally been centred on a small area of Norfolk, England, in the adjoining villages of Attleborough, Great Ellingham and Deopham although needless to say, there are instances of individual and family unit migrations to Yorkshire, Kent, Utah USA, France, New South Wales and Tasmania

My research has been geatly aided by The Church of Christ and Latter Day Saints CDs of the 1851 and 1881 UK censusses and periodic visits to the Norfolk Records Office, although I have made some very interesting contacts via the internet with descendants of branches of the families who left the UK in the 19 century
