I have been working on our family tree for sometime now. There are over 400 inividuals in the database going back to the mid-1800s.
On the Dynan side, I recently located relatives in Illinois where my grandfather, John H. Dynan, was born. His parents, their siblings and spouses had emigrated from Ireland in the 1850s. The Dynans in Illinois changed their surname to Dining around 1900.
My grandfather came to Minnesota to work. He met and married my gradmother, Julia A. OBrien. Julias ancestors emigrated from Ireland during the great potato famine of 1845-1850.
