Our family starts at the first Eash; The famed, or not so famed, depending on how you feel about Minonites, Bishop Jacob David Eash. After him, there were many other Jacob David Eash's, some of which were bishops. There were many David Eash's and Jacob Eash's after these, and also several Bob(Robert)Eash's. This first Eash came to PA in 1764 from Europe leading a group of Minonites. Since then, there have been many more Eash's, connected in many ways to the Yoders. These two families were intermarried several times while still in PA.
