David Alan Ebbrell, born on the 29th of August 1949, at Exeter, Devon, England U.K.
This branch of the Ebbrells are located in the South West of England, Devon, my father meeting my mother ( Peggy Paltridge ) whilst he was serving in the Navy at Plymouth( submarines ) and she a Wren stationed at HMS Raligh.
My father came from a large family of six brothers and four sisters, in Eastham, Wirral, Cheshire England, and of this date
16.1.2001 I am about to create a family tree. My mother a single child has had her family tree traced by a man in Australia called Gayle. ( URL www.uq.net.au/paltridge/ ) a formidable site and of excelent content a real help to me.
My fathers parents, Frederick and Kate, !0 The Rake Eastham. Wirral. Cheshire. had eleven children, Jean, Kitty, Alan (Frederick Alan), David, James, Charles, Grace, Betty, George, Billy and Keith. this is my next step in tracing back the lineage.Then Frederick and Kates brothers and sisters and parents, this being a long term project through the winters.
5.2.2001. I am in contact with Allan Ebbrell (Yorkshire) and his daughter Louise White, who are helping me considerably with my Quest and can not thank them enough for the information they have supplied.
