Our Great-Great Grandparents immigrated to the USA from the Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany area around 1830. They first settled in Waterloo, IL. From there my Great-Grandparents moved to Osseo, MN around 1865 and homesteaded a farm there near Mud Lake in Osseo, MN. They raised a large family (ll children) from which many descendents are recorded in these family records. We hope this along with other sites out there will help us to continue to find even more lost relatives. Frederick Ebert, Jr. (1816-1899) married Julia (Oestreich) Ebert November 11th, 1845 in Monroe County, II. Their 11 children were, John Ebert (abt 1846), Frederick (1876-1932), Margaretha (Ebert) Bossert (1850-1882), George Ebert (My Grandfather) (1852-1939), Julia (Ebert) Oswald (1855-1938), Adam Ebert (abt 1858), Henry Ebert (1861) Susan (Ebert) Sander (1863-1953), Charles Ebert ( 1865- 1940), Conrad Ebert (1867-1950) & William Ebert (1875).
