My grandfather, Johan Eblen(changed to John after coming to the U.S.)came to America from Germany in the mid 1800s with 2 brothers and a wife. John settled in New Orleans, LA. I do not know where the other 2 brothers went. From his 1st wife, John had5 children, 2 died young, and 2 boys from his second wife, Catherine Schulz, the sister of his first wite, who came from Germany. My father's name was(he died in 1958) was Eugene Frank
Eblen. He was the youngest child of the second marriage. I have
three children, John, Katherine, and Karen.
