R.A.R. is my wifes grandfather. Born in Meerut India of English parents..Frederick John Regent Gunner in the Royal Horse Artillery and his wife Emma.(birth name unknown at this time).
F.J.R. died in India 3 months after his son was born and he and his mother were required to return to England, where soon after she remarried. Our research has been in England, France & Germany but thus far has not met with much success on the ancestor side, but is fairly extensive on the decendent side.Research is ongoing and progress is slow.....
Newest information shows that Emma married a "Ferrier Sgt. Henry Buck" When & where is still unknown..
