The Eckerts, Wiberts, Johnsons and Snows of West Michigan

Updated August 9, 2003

About Our Family Research

Current "dead-ends" I am trying to track down:

* Wibert -- While I have some of the early Wiberts in my file, moving back from the present generation I stop at Frank J. Wibert, b. 1868. Not sure how to link him to others.

* Roth - Milton Roth, son of Heinrich Roth and Christina Sayler - both apparently from German-Russian families that immigrated from the Odessa region of the Ukraine. I've found good information on the Sayler family, but a complete dead-end at Heinrich.

* Hammond - I have an Ida Hammond, b. 1872, in NY dau. of Alexander Hammond (son of Stephen Hammond?) and Elizabeth Judd. I have some information on the Judd's but, no good info on this branch.

* Eckert - John E. Eckert, b. Mar. 20, 1822 (1821?) somewhere in Germany. Came to America as a young man, lived in Northern Indiana and West-Central/Southern Michigan, had two wives. No real documentation found.
